It is our pleasure to introduce you to the world of A Basketful of Gifts, LLC.  We are a family-run gourmet gift basket company, located in Connecticut.  Our gift basket business started up in 1998 - making gift baskets for local businesses. In May of 2000, we opened the doors of A Basketful of Gifts, our gift shoppe located on Main Street in Kensington, Connecticut. Our business consisted of one small gift shoppe and a small design studio located in East Hartford, Connecticut, where we created the gift baskets, hand-painted glassware, and other hand-crafted gifts that we sold in our gift shoppe.  While we had many local customers in our store, we also had a very busy internet business, with customers around the country. After four years, we realized that we could not possibly fill our many internet orders and still work our design studio and manage our gift shoppe! So, in November of 2004, we moved into a large non-retail space in the Farmington Valley, just minutes from Hartford. While our design studio is not open to the public, we welcome all telephone and internet orders. A Basketful of Gifts specializes in unique, custom designed themed gift baskets of non-perishable gourmet food items, spa selections and exquisite hand-painted glassware. We create gift baskets for personal, small business and corporate accounts.  These baskets are creative alternatives to the more traditional forms of gifting such as flowers and fruit baskets, and are created in a variety of sizes and styles to fit most budgets. We deliver locally and ship UPS and FedEx across the country. Whether you’re looking for a special gift for an anniversary or wedding, new home or new baby, or a simple thank-you, our designers are here to assist you.
