DELIVERY & SHIPPING INFORMATION

All orders placed before 12:00 PM Noon (EST), Monday through Friday, will be shipped within 24 hours (we do not include week-ends in this time frame)*.  We ship via UPS & FedEx ground.  We fill our orders on a first come, first serve basis. Depending on where the basket is being shipped, the type of basket ordered and the time the order was placed, it may take several days to reach it's destination. All orders are shipped within 24 hours. Most baskets arrive within 6 business days from the time the order is placed*.  UPS & FedEx Ground services do not guarantee delivery times to residential destinations.  Please note: All online orders placed after hours from Friday 5:00PM (EST) through Sunday will not be received and viewed by customer service until Monday morning and will follow the above guidelines.  Saturday and Sundays are not counted when calculating the number of days a parcel will spend in transit.  Please email questions to customerservice@abasketfulofgifts.com. 

Redelivery charges will apply to orders requiring reshipment due to incorrect delivery information. 

If the recipient is not home, the delivery person will leave the package in a safe and visible location if it is a single or multi family home with it's own entrance. If it is delivered to a large apartment or condo complex that does not have individual entrances, and the recipient is not home, the delivery person will not leave the gift basket. We will contact the recipient to make delivery arrangements when they are home. Redelivery charges will apply after the 2nd delivery attempt.     

Hospital Deliveries: We do not deliver to hospitals. We have found in many instances that the patient is discharged before the basket has arrived. If you would like the gift basket delivered to someone in the hospital, we recommend sending the basket to the recipient's home address.

Fruit Deliveries: Our fruit is shipped daily, direct from the grove - one of the country's best - located in Oregon's Hood Valley. Because fruit is perishable, we don't keep it "on-site". Please allow 3 business days for Fruit Basket delivery.

* We reserve the right to alter the above shipping schedule based on design time and availability of product for gift baskets. Gift Baskets containing hand-painted and/or personalized items will require a longer design time, resulting in a delayed shipping time. We will make every attempt to ship your gift basket in a timely manner, usually within 24 to 48 hours. We will try our best to accommodate all reasonable requests, but please remember we stand by our above shipping policy.
