1. We are family owned and operated. Every basket that goes out of our design studio is a representation of ourselves and our company. With some companies, customer service reps are employees of the company. With us, they are family.

 2. We will customize an order as small as one basket. Many other companies will only customize with orders of 50 – 100 baskets and larger, or will not customize at all.

 3. Our gift baskets contain hand-painted wine glasses, hand-painted coffee mugs (often personalized with the recipient’s name). Very rarely will you find a company that offers hand-painted products that are painted on-site and can be customized to order.

4. While many gift basket companies use wicker baskets to hold the contents…A Basketful of Gifts thinks OUTSIDE of the box. A sampling of our baskets includes:

5. We offer delivery to all towns in Connecticut and ship throughout the United States.

6. When you order our baskets, you receive our baskets…it’s as simple as that! Most times, if you have a favorite local florist or gift basket company, and you need an order sent out of town, you are not getting the service of that company. They will place an order with a gift basket company or florist near the recipient. You don’t know the quality of the item sent from the other company. With A Basketful of Gifts, even if the order is being shipped to California, the gift basket will be coming from our Connecticut studios.

7. Most local Connecticut florists and gift basket companies have local customers. While A Basketful of Gifts has many local customers and corporate clients, we also have clients located around the world; England, France, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Australia, Africa, Puerto Rico, South America, Switzerland and Israel to name a few!

8. If a basket is shipped via FedEx or UPS and left at the front door, A Basketful of Gifts will contact the recipient by phone to notify them that the gift basket was delivered.

9. We contact the sender via email to notify them of the delivery date and time.

10. We mail every customer their credit card receipt, usually within 7-14 business days.
